The junior section of the club is going from strength to strength. The section now offers
- mini-tennis coaching for 5 -11 year olds
- "Raw Tennis" coaching for teenagers
- under 16s boys local league team
- under 13s girls local league team
- entry to various local tournaments
All this is managed by the club's head coach, Sally Freeman,

The junior coaching schedule for the summer term is -
Wed 4:15 - 5:15pm mini-tennis
5:15 - 6:15pm beginners & improvers
6:15 - 7:15pm intermediate/advance
Fri 5:00 - 6:00pm
6:00 - 7:30pm Squad coaching (by invitation only)
7:30 - 9:00pm Squad coaching (by invitation only)
Sat 9:15 - 10:15am mini-tennis red 5-7 years
10:15 - 11:15am mini-tennis red 5-7 years
11:15 - 12:15am mini-tennis orange/green 8-11 years
12:15 - 1:15pm intermediates (normal ball)
In addition, there are a number of sessions during the week when juniors have specific priority
for the upper macadam courts. These are
- Sat 11 pm- 2:30 pm junior coaching (term time only)
- Sun 4 pm- 6:30 pm family freeplay
- Mon 4 pm- 9:00 pm junior freeplay
(but only one court after 6pm)
- Tues 4 pm- 6:00 pm junior freeplay
- Wed 4 pm- 6:30 pm junior coaching (term time only)
- Thurs 4 pm- 6:30 pm junior coaching (term time only)
- Fri 4 pm - 6:00 pm junior freeplay
- Fri 6 pm - 9:00 pm junior coaching (term time only)
In addition, junior members can (of course) arrange their own games at other times (provided there are no other priority
sessions). Courts are then allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, although adults have priority on the lower artificial grass courts.
Please note that juniors can use the club courts for free provided they only use the hopper balls
(only 4 per court, not the whole hopper please) or they provide their own balls.
